Problem Statement:
A simple to use, compact, automated cleaning device is needed for farmers in rural areas to effectively clean the rafts of their eco-friendly hydroponic gardens that will last many years.
Our Solution:
We have an area where the user can stack up to 8 boards on, we then have a wedge that splits the bottom board from the rest of the stack. The bottom board now gets pushed into two spinning wheels which grab onto the board and pull in towards our vertical spinning brush. This brush moves left, right, up and down to clean all holes of the raft. Later on there's larger brushes cleaning off the top and bottom of our raft, and light water to spray off excess residue. At the end we have an easy to carry bucket for the farmers to carry the cleaned boards anywhere.
