DESCRIPTION
Hover is a GNG 2101 team that was given four months to design a frisbee thrower from scratch. This thrower is intended for children with special needs who do not have the motor skills required to throw a frisbee.
Our frisbee thrower is like nothing on the market. It is a compact design with a height adjustable mechanism, which allows for optimal and changeable distances. Combine that with our high efficiency motor and changeable speed controls, and you're left with a product that not only launches a frisbee, but one that consistently and successfully launches variable frisbee sizes at regulative distances. In addition, the safety measures we have implemented in our design ensures that we have dramatically decreased the opportunity for injury.
