Client Information
Bethany Children’s Health Center is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care.  They serve children from birth to 21 years old who have complex medical and physical disabilities. Their goal is to maximize every child’s potential and increase their level of independence.  Many of the kids have significant motor deficits which make doing every day things such as walking, sitting, playing, and even communicating very difficult without the use of assistive technology like wheelchairs, standers, and switches.  Just because they do things a little different doesn’t mean they don’t like to play and have fun just like every other kid. They would love to be able to do things like throw a frisbee to their friends or the therapy dog who comes to visit.

Your task is to design a frisbee throwing device that is portable and small enough to fit on a wheelchair tray. It must also be activated by various switches (https://www.especialneeds.com/shop/assistive-technology/switches.html). It must be easy to load and maintain for caregivers. It should be waterproof and be as rugged as possible.
