Project background

When this client is hospitalized she loses access to her AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device since she is not in his wheelchair and in a bed. She currently uses eye tracking technology where a bank of IR lights at her face and a camera picks up reflections from the front and back of the eye. It then extrapolates a line to the screen and determines which cell she's looking at. Holding a gaze on a cell is a selection. For this to be functional the device needs to be held at a particular distance and angle from her face which may be tricky while she is in bed. Your task would be to help Treena be able to communicate efficiently when she is in bed and have as little configuration as possible from the chair for hospital staff to be able to easily implement it.
