Contexte du projet
For parents or grandparents who use a manual or power wheelchair it can be difficult to push a stroller for their child since it is not made to push from a seated position. What would be needed is a way to use existing wheelchairs and attach a stroller to it to be able to move around with the child.
There are other ideas that exist but nothing on the market. They have different methods of attachement, either from the front, back or side. Ideally this solution would attach from the front with the child facing the parent. It could be a wheeled base which can hold a baby carrier/car seat or an attachment that can work with existing strollers.
Your task is to design a system that will allow parents to independently and comfortably take their child to public places and care for them. It must:

Your task is to design a system that will allow parents to independently and comfortably take their child to public places and care for them. It must:
- Be able to be operated completely independently by the wheelchair user, including attaching and disengaging the stroller.
- Be both sturdy and safe while also being lightweight enough for someone with a lowered center of gravity to lift it.
- Be foldable and easy to transport in a vehicle.
- Have locking wheels that can be controlled without having to bend all the way down to the wheel itself.
Ideally it should:
- Be able to support the weight of a child up to 40 lbs.
- Be as universal as possible to work with different strollers and wheelchairs.
Tentatives précédentes
There has been no previous attempt to solving this problem however there was a similar project for walkers that can be used for inspiration.
