The Inuuqatigiit Centre for Children, Youth and Families teaches a lot about ways to be greener and take care of the planet to their participants. They also teach ways to be self-sustaining, including gardening. The Centre has different locations which offer various services and also provides over 300 meals per week.

This client is looking for either a greenhouse or a grow wall that they can put in different locations to benefit their community. Both types of structures would have to be able to be taken apart and transported since some of their locations are rented. Typical items that would be grown are easy vegetables like tomatoes and zucchini and herbs like basil. Both projects will also be composed of 2 teams working together to complete it.

Greenhouse
Team 1- This team would be responsible for the structure of the greenhouse, ie the design of the walls, roof, door, modular attachment method etc.

Team 2- This team would be responsible for the growing system, which could be in the form of a hydroponic system or planters and includes irrigation.

Grow wall
Team 1- This team would be responsible for the structure of the wall, ie the design of the support structure, plant holders, modular attachment method etc. 

Team 2- This team would be responsible for the growing system, which could be in the form of a hydroponic system or planters and includes indoor lighting and water supply.
