Client Information
This client typically uses a walker to get around the house. When she dislocates a shoulder she can no longer use that arm to steer the walker which makes it very difficult to get around. Either arm could dislocate.

Your task is to design a system that will allow her to steer the walker efficiently with only one arm. It must be transferable to be used with either arm. It must be easy to install, operate and maintain.  The system should be rugged and weather resistant. All warranty requirements for the walker must also be respected (no major modifications like drilling can be done).
Past attempts
There has been a few previous attempt to solve this problem. They were a good start however the system needs to be small and light enough to be carried around when not needed as well as be able to install it with one hand.
