Project background

This Client often has trouble remembering if she has taken her medication on a certain day and needs reminders to make sure she has taken them. Your task is to design a device that will dispense the right medication, clearly indicating that it is the medication for the current day and trigger a customisable alarm if that medication has not been taken. The reminder should only be activated if the medication is still in the dispenser at a set time and should not be attached to the dispenser in case she is not near it. The dispenser must be easy and intuitive to use.

Past attempts

There has been no previous attempt to solving this problem. Many existing pill boxes with alarms exist however the alarm systems are often integrated in the pill dispenser or are separate modules used together.
