DESCRIPTION
The staff at Bethany Children’s Health Center, a paediatric rehabilitation centre, have requested a device be made; this device should be able to transport snacks across a counter with the push of a button, to accommodate patients with limited dexterity. The purpose of this device is to promote independence in the day-to-day tasks of those patients at Bethany Children's Health Center. Further, considering that the main users of this device will be children, the design must be simple and intuitive.
To address these needs, we aim to develop an accessible, affordable, and functional conveyor belt. Utilizing this conveyor belt design, with the push of a button, patients at Bethany Children's Health Center will be able to efficiently transport snacks.
Further, this project is operating under a price limit of $100.
