Environmental problems have increasingly become the focus of attention. Because of the concern of pollution on the seashore, our project aims to design and modify a robot for beach cleaning. According to the requirement of clients, benchmarking and the experience during trails, we designed a mobile platform for camera to make it flexible and get larger vision. Meanwhile, we also developed the night work mode based on IR camera to make it able to work automatically at night. Our prototype and functional testing are finished as well as the analysis of usability, scalability, sustainability and other necessary analysis.
