


DESCRIPTION
Beyond the Pale needs an accurate and sanitary method to measure, display and store the specific gravity, in a time-efficient and self-regulating process.
Our group decided to tackle this project in a creative way. Utilizing our fluid dynamics knowledge, we were able to manipulate Bernoulli's equation and the continuity equation for an orifice plate flow meter in order to find the density & specific gravity. The sensors used were a differential pressure sensor and a volumetric flow meter sensor
Our cost for this project was 100$.
Important details to consider with this design are the connectivity and proper sealing of all components to ensure a waterproof seal. Along with proper code for the sensors.
