SALA, the Special Adjustable Laptop Arm is designed to help JM, a patient with no arm or leg mobility, to use his laptop more comfortably. He currently uses a mouth-stick to operate his laptop, but the angle and height of his laptop causes him neck strain. As a result, the team designed and produced a prototype that allows JM to set his laptop at a comfortable height and angle. This will reduce his neck pain and prevent future health issues involving neck strain.
