Our project aims is for the Bathroom Assist Project proposal. Our solution aims to assist a 7 year old girl with limited physical mobility to raise and lower her pants when using the bathroom.

Problem Statement
Our client has a physical condition that reduces grip strength and flexibility which is impacting her ability to raise and lower her pants when she is using the restroom.

Imapct
This issue is restricting our client’s ability to be independent when she is using the restroom, which she has expressed causes her discomfort.

Solution
Our solution is a wearable belt like expanding device. The client would wear our device like a belt and it will expand the waistband of her pant to give her more room and flexibility when maneuvering her pants. We hope the expanding belt will help by allowing her some more room when maneuvering her pants and making it easier to raise and lower her pants when she uses the bathroom.
