There exists a need for individuals with limited mobility to safely and easily power on a laptop without using their hands; instead, using a device that manually pushes the laptop’s power button when triggered with a wireless signal.
E1.4 has created the button presser, a modular servo that will turn on one's laptop when activated via a Bluetooth compatible phone.
Units will be sold for $50.00, and raw materials cost approximately $24.03.
The electronics are relatively simple, so one can customize the casing to better attach to different models of laptops.
