DESCRIPTION
The hazmat arm modification for the Bowie robot is designed to allow an untrained operator to safely collect and dispose of hazardous waste, such as needles, without any risk of becoming injured. This is accomplished through the use of an arm replacement that features a sealed container attached to the bottom of the arm. A funneled scoop will guide any hazardous waste into the box, and once all waste has been collected, the box can be removed and disposed of.
