

DESCRIPTION
The client needs a safe, durable, and cheap testing device to increase the effect of erosion on the sample in an accurate and consistent manner to measure the environment parameters within a time frame of under a month.
The solution that was chosen was to take a container and fill it with a slurry mixture. There would be a thermometer and a scale to keep track of the temperature and weight. The sample would be shaped like a propeller and would be attached to a rod that is attached to a motor at the top of the container. The motor will be a stepper motor connected to a breadboard which is connected to an arduino.
The total cost is estimated to be $103 after tax and shipping
Making the arduino motor work was the biggest roadblock that the group encountered. Not having a schematic to base off what was being made, and no prior experience, as well as not knowing if all the parts worked, the original plan for the motor had to be changed.
