DESCRIPTION
The client needs a dust level sensor to detect the amount of dust within their malt silos to prevent the dust clogging the system. This design uses an photoresistor to detect the amount of reflected light. Then an ultrasonic sensor is used to measure the distance from the photoresistor to the top of the casing. This measurement is used to calculate the volume of malt in the silo. These sensors are attached to a belt so when a motor spins, the sensors move up and down the silo until the level of the malt is detected.
