DESCRIPTION
Air pollution is a serious threat to public health and the environment. The use of low-cost, portable air pollution sensors has been suggested to address this issue by providing a decentralized system to measure air quality. This project aimed to design a system that can measure air pollution using low-cost sensors, visualize and analyze the collected data, and make recommendations for improving air quality. However, due to time and budget constraints, the project was limited to building a system with two pollution sensors, GPS, and Wi-Fi modules. The client's requirements were categorized into price, climate conditions, and hardware requirements. The team faced some difficulties during the practical part of the project, but they were able to collect and visualize data. In the next parts of this report, the components and hardware of the system will be introduced, and the data collected will be visualized. Finally, the different scopes of scalability, usability, functionality, and quality of this project will be discussed.
