DESCRIPTION
Problem Statement:
A need exists for the University of Ottawa to deploy portable heated sidewalks that can melt snow and ice providing a safer environment for all on-campus while maintaining environmental sustainability and being cost-effective.
Our team came up with a heated sidewalk, the Heat Master 3.0, controlled by an Arduino board that melts snow as it falls. The total cost of the project is $96.98.
The Spartans are Teba Atrakchi, Alberto Fong Hou, Anabui Ogah, Mackenzie Conrad and Evan Tomietto.
