Project background
For a person with disabilities, being able to write with a pen or pencil can be quite difficult. For some, being able to grasp and hold the writing instrument is a challenge, but there are several items on the market to assist with this problem. However, for a person with essential and related tremors there is no existing system that will permit a sufficient reduction in unwanted motion to permit the pen to be moved in a controlled fashion to permit accurate writing.
Your task is to create a pen control system so that as the person moves the pen on a writing surface, the tremors are reduced sufficiently to enable the person to accurately carry out this task and even do detailed work such as line drawing. Some success using hand/arm pressure with touch screen stylus and computer mouse to lower tremor activity has been found by previous groups.

Past attempts
There has been no previous attempt to solving this problem. A similar project was done to help control tremors when using a mobile device, it can be used for inspiration.
