Project background
This client interacts with many individuals who have unilateral limb loss, the injuries range from digit (finger loss) to entire upper extremity limb loss. Many individuals have trouble griping the small guitar pick when they have a partial hand amputation (i.e. loss of a few fingers). Of course individuals with a complete hand amputation also loose that ability.
Your task is to design a device which can help a partial or complete hand amputee to hold a guitar pick and be able to apply some force with it. It must be easy to clean and comfortable to use. It must not hinder the movement of the hand/arm. It should be as universal as possible for guitars and personal preferences.
