This client does not currently have a way to access a cup independently while lying in bed. The side that they get into bed has a rail that moves up and down so a mount could be placed on the opposite side. Because of their limited arm mobility and strength, the cup would ideally be as close to them as possible without being in the way, but would need a way to move it away when needed with little force.

Your task is to design a cup holder that can be mounted on a bed rail. It must be sturdy and accommodate different sized cups. It must also be within reach while being safe in case it gets knocked into. It should also be easy to manœuvrer out of the way and easy to maintain.
