Many people might wear a soft cervical collar due to an injury or a condition, either temporarily or permanently. The soft collars allow more head and neck movement then a rigid collar but still supports the neck. This client is looking for a waterproof and chemically resistant option to be able to swim and do other activities that might involve water. There are very few existing products that are waterproof and none that are resistant to chlorine.

Your task is to design a soft cervical collar which can withstand being immersed in water as well as the effects of chlorine. It must be easy to use and to wash. It must be secure and provide the correct neck support. Ideally it is adjustable and/or can be made in different sizes.
