This client has recently lost more of their mobility and can no longer use a nail file independently. What is needed is more support for the hand being filed and the file itself.

Your task is to design a device which has 2 main functions. The first is to hold and stabilise the hand and fingers being filed, and the second is to hold the file in the desired position. The hand stabiliser must be ergonomic and comfortable and have the ability to be cleaned. The file holder must be able to adjust the position of the file easily and installation of the file in the holder must be simple yet robust. It should accommodate as many file sizes as possible. The device should be able to be set up easily on a table or armrest and moved if needed.
