Project background
Many people with disabilities that affect their hand and arm movement and dexterity find it very difficult to use a traditional computer mouse. The Point It! Joystick mouse  (https://specialneedscomputers.ca/products/point-it-usb-or-bluetooth-joystick) is one of the only Bluetooth joystick mouses currently available. Unfortunately this mouse has some charging problems that the developer is not addressing. Other joysticks exist however most are not Bluetooth, which is extremely convenient to use on different devices and platforms (computer vs tablet and Windows vs Apple), and others are not compact, which leads to difficulties mounting them to a wheelchair.

Your task is to design a compact joystick mouse which can be connected via Bluetooth to external devices. It must be able to be recharged reliably and easily. It should be very similar to the Point It! in size (12x12cm) and functionality. It must be easy to set up and to maintain for non-technical users. It should be rugged and easy to clean. Ideally it should have interchangeable joystick heads to accommodate different users.
