Project background
This client uses her nose to navigate their phone and use other devices. She currently has an arm made of PVC attached to her wheelchair to hold her phone in front of her which can be pushed aside when needed. The phone is held on a sightly angled plate with velcro. However she doesn't have a way to use her phone while lying in bed.  She always lies on her left side and uses the phone in landscape.

Your task is to design a device which can hold a phone in front of this client in her bed. It must be attached to the railing on the right side of the bed and curve over her so that there is nothing in the way of her left arm. It must also be easy to remove and put back on the rail by caregivers when needed. It must have some adjustability to position it in the right place. It should be able to swing out of the way when not using it.
Past attempts
A few teams have worked on this project in Fall 2023 however the devices were lacking some rigidity and reliable adjustability. The fit on the bed rail was also not optimized and did not fit well.
