Project background

This client has a balcony in her home however she has never been out on it. Because of the ledge to get to the balcony (about 6-8 inches) and the lip of the door, her wheelchair can't travel over them.

Your task is to design a ramp which can allow the client to reach her balcony and enjoy it. It must not interfere with the operation of the door. It must be sturdy and durable. Any parts outside must be weather resistant.

Cette cliente a un balcon chez elle, mais elle n’y est jamais allée. En raison du rebord pour accéder au balcon (environ 6 à 8 pouces) et du rebord de la porte, son fauteuil roulant ne peut pas les franchir.

Votre tâche est de concevoir une rampe qui permette à la cliente d'atteindre son balcon et d'en profiter. Il ne doit pas gêner le fonctionnement de la porte. Il doit être solide et durable. Toutes les pièces extérieures doivent être résistantes aux intempéries.
