Contexte du projet
The Office of Campus Sustainability has been trying to dream up some specialty recycling bins. These would handle some of their special waste like pens and batteries, etc.
- They could be thematically shaped (like a giant pencil for pen recycling)
- They need to be durable and able to be moved around easily
- They need to be accessed easily
- They can have more complicated features (for example counters or something that lets you know when the bin is full and needs to be emptied)
- And if you really want to go over the top, some of them could use some automation… for example the battery recycling bins need to be able to have the ability to put some batteries in special bags for safety. If they could be bagged automatically if they are dropped in a certain hole, that would be very cool for us.
The goal is to have more interactive bins.
