Christopher currently works at a local grocery store and is responsible to face aisles during his shift which lasts between 4 – 5 hours. Unfortunately, he is often unable to complete the required quota (3 aisles in 4 hours or 4 aisles 5 hours) because he experiences moments where he stops moving and remains idle.
He is looking for a device or application made for his smart phone that will alert him with a vibration or audio cue to resume activities. He would need to be able to set a timer that would prompt him after he is idle for a certain amount of time. He would like for the time to be adjustable between 5 seconds to 30 seconds. It would also be nice for the "reverse pedometer" to record how many times he is idle during a set period (i.e. 4 – 5 hours).
This would ideally be most useful if it were created as a smartphone app. This could enable other clients or persons who live with OCD, ADAD to benefit from it.
