Project background
Due to the patient's limited arm movement, she can't use traditional keyboards. She needs a customized device to fit her limited range and force. The client loves to be online, especially on social media platforms such as Youtube and Facebook. She is currently using an 8 button joystick mouse that has customized functions for her such as a button that automatically writes "lol".

The client finds this mouse to be uncomfortable because of the design, the distance of the buttons and the amount of force it takes to use the device. On certain days, she doesn't have enough force to press her buttons, which stops her from using her computer. She would like to have a more comfortable mouse, with buttons that are closer to each other and that are more sensitive to her touch. A T9 or Swivel style keyboard (or any idea that would allow multi-function buttons) could make typing more efficient. Comfort is the top priority, however; the keyboard function is ideal but not required.
