Client Information
When traveling by foot without mobility problems, cracks or holes can be taken for granted. When traveling by wheelchair outside for more than a very short distance, any sidewalk crack, bump or the gap getting down from the sidewalk to the street causes a lot of discomfort for users. They can get headaches and painful spasms which leads to not being willing or able to travel. This is especially aggravated when there are bricks or cobblestone in pedestrian walkways. Your task is to find a way to provide a more comfortable ride for wheelchair users while not interfering with any of the normal functions of the chair.
Past attempts
There has been no previous attempt to solving this problem.
