Contexte du projet
The standard for accessibility switches is a 3.5 mm mono jack. This requires special software and hardware to interface with a personal computer, which is generally more expensive than it needs to be. Further, Windows does not natively support switch scanning. Your task is to come up with a solution involving either a HID compliant USB accessibility switch, or a cheap dongle to repurpose the 3.5 mm mono switches currently in common use. Coupled with a lightweight application to replicate the switch scanning mouse alternatives used in AAC software could dramatically increase computer access options for people with disabilities.
