Project background

DashBoard is a free and open platform from Ross Video for facility control and monitoring that enables users to quickly build unique, tailored Custom User Interfaces that make complex operations simple. Its ability to craft application specific solutions across this breadth of products is what makes DashBoard so special. The power of DashBoard is that it can be tailored to control a large array of devices using standard protocols supported on a PC – IP, Serial, OSC (Open Sound Control) etc. Equipment in the Lansdowne facilities already have DashBoard compatible equipment.

There are 2 challenges groups can pick from for this project.

Option A is an enhanced fan experience where the TD Place Arena needs new and fresh content to engage and excite fans. This usually takes place prior to hockey teams taking the ice at the beginning of the game and all equipment, cameras, lights, sound system, etc are used.

Option B is to automate equipment configuration in the control room between different sporting events. The control room needs a quick and easy way to reconfigure the equipment for all the TD Place Stadium and TD Place Arena sports.

There is a support community for DashBoard users at the link below.  Note that you will have to create a user account to be able to access the forum, but it will be worth it!
