  Blood tubing has many clips that renal care nurses have to clip and unclip over 100 times per day. The renal device was designed to assist renal nurses in closing blood tubing clamps. The device prevents injuries to the thumb by removing the load from the thumb while the operating the clips. The device works for a verity of hands, easy to maneuver in tight spaces, and can be cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis.
