A need exists to provide a lightweight, compact, portable ramp within $100 that will enable Austin to access areas which are not otherwise accessible to people in wheelchairs due to curbs and tree roots.

Our solution is to build a triangular wheelchair ramp which is capable of folding in half for portability. The ramp is supported by ratched straps running along the bottom.

The current cost of the ramp is $127.70

The biggest struggle we have faced with this project was finding a way to give the ramp enough support without introducing too much weight. The ropes supporting the ramp proved to be an extrememly effective solution.
