The client suffers from a condition which severely limits his ability to move his arms and communicate without his wheelchair system. He has requested a product that will allow him to communicate to caregivers while laying in bed which is operated with his foot, it should be lightweight and easy to set up. ====Our solution was to make a joystick much like the one of the clients' mounted onto a ramp like structure. It sits on the surface of the bed and is secured by two straps that wrap around the bed frame.

The cost of our prototype is 109$.

Some problem that might be faces is not getting the joystick to move in the upwards direction. This is caused by the hole in the top piece to be too small which limits the range of motion.
