When living alone or going on a hike or an outing alone it is often a good idea to regularly let friends and family know that you are ok which gives them and you more peace of mind. Some apps exist which have similar functionality like Snug Safe however they are not quite what this Client is looking for and some are only available in the US. Here are some prioritized requirements:

1. The check in reminders should be easily customizable so that the time can be set according to each user’s preference. It needs to be reset for the same time the next day, the first time the user gets online.

2. If the user missed the check in it is important to double check with the user before sending a message to the contacts so no false emergencies are triggered. There should be 3 extra checks over a set period of time (1 hour for example) and not be sent right away.

3. To check in the user must type in 'ok' or 'yes' for example instead of pushing a button to ensure they are well enough to do this.

4. There should be the possibility to have multiple emergency contacts with different contact methods (email, text, phone) and have the ability to add a custom message which is sent. The list and the contact methods should be prioritized.

5. The application should also be able to be paused for a duration set by the user, for example if visiting family.

6. The user also should be able to set other reminder times in the day other then the 1st of the day in case of a hike or day trip. The location should be customizable in this circumstance.

Your task is to create an application to incorporate all these features while staying easy to use and intuitive so it does not become cumbersome to check in with loved ones.
