A client from The city of Ottawa has asked us to make a pair of crutches that has a better adhesion to ice during winter and a better ergonomic feeling to alleviate carpal tunnel syndrome in the wrists of long time users of forearm crutches. After a semester of work in the class of GNG 2501 we managed to create a proof of concept that could truly make a difference in the medical world to help those in need.
